The Kennards KVSI portfolio valuation comprised 35 operating self storage facilities extending across east coast Australia and New Zealand.
Self Storage Facility Lease Negotiation
Negotiation and facilitation of lease agreement between Self Storage Plus and Blue Mountains Disability Services Ltd for the establishment of a new self storage facility at Springwood NSW.
Economic Assessment Development Feasibility Analysis

Macquarie Bank engaged Blackwell Consulting to undertake analysis of self storage development opportunities throughout major east coast Australia cities. Analysis involved the research of existing storage supply levels, identifying gaps in supply and establishing indicative development feasibility models.

Australasian Self Storage Demand Study 2008
Following the success of the 2006 Demand Study, Blackwell Consulting undertook a second Demand Study in 2008. The study included over 5,000 participants and focused on the demand and consumer preferences of both users and non users of Self Storage in Australia and New Zealand. In essence, the study addressed, inter alia;
- Product awareness & knowledge
- Usage rates
- Product satisfaction
- Demographic features of self storage users

Abacus Storage Fund Portfolio Valuation

The Abacus Storage Fund portfolio valuation comprised 30 operating self storage facilities extending across east coast Australia and New Zealand.
Valuation of Proposed Self Storage Facility
Blackwell Consulting undertook the valuation of a proposed self storage facility upon completion at 39 Alleyne Street, Chatswood for mortgage security purposes. Instructions also required assessment “as is” (vacant land), alternate use and assessment on a self storage basis after an extended occupancy build-up period.
