Ashleigh Roddan and David Blackwell released the 2010 Demand Study at the recent Self Storage Association of Australiasia Conference held in Wellington, New Zealand. Ashleigh and David presented "highlights" of the study to the conference.

Media Release: Abacus Storage Fund Investor Update August 2009

Highlights Include:

  • “The forecast FY10 distribution remains at 9.6c gross, reflecting a grow distribution yield of 8.1% at the current unit price of $1.18. Distributions are expected to be 77% tax deferred.
  • The property portfolio was revalued at June 2009, resulting in a decline of less than 1% in the value of the Fund’s $315 million property portfolio.”
